Petri Dishes (Petri Plates)

Petri plates are shallow cylindrical containers with fitted lids. They have a lid which makes aeration possible. These are circular in shape and can be stacked one upon another. Petri plates are available in wide range sizes with different diameters. Glass ones are autoclavable and reusable, while plastic Petri dishes are generally sterile and disposable.
